Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1848 honored military veterans of all branches of service who were buried at Hollywood Cemetery, Sunday.

The service was open to family members as well as the public.

A 21 gun salute as well as the playing of Taps by members of the V.F.W. highlighted the service.

"There is no way to celebrate this if you do it everyday for the peace and comfort that we have in America because of the ones who have passed on that are in this cemetery," said Ralph Murdaugh of V.F.W. Post 1848.
