JACKSON Tenn. - A Jackson man said he is happy to be alive after two men tried to rob him at gunpoint Friday night.

"He had a gun, it was loaded. He really seemed like he was willing to use it," the victim recalls of the traumatizing experience.

The man told Jackson Police he was on break from work at the RMC Express, located off of Vann Drive. He said he was walking to his car when a masked man approached him.

"He was trying to push me in it telling me, get in, get in! He wanted my vehicle and he wanted me and my money with it," the man said.

Jackson Police arrested Raymoane Jackson and Ytiekie Washington just minutes after the attempted robbery.

Jackson is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and attempted car jacking. Washington was also charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

Police said the two men are still behind bars in lieu of $35,000 bond.
