Victim in East Pointe Apartments Shooting Recovering

JACKSON, Tenn. - The man hit by a stray bullet while inside his east Jackson apartment, Wednesday evening, is out of the hospital and recovering at home, according to police.
As of Thursday afternoon, no arrests had been made in the shooting at East Pointe Apartments.
Investigators believe at least two gunmen opened fire just before 7:30 p.m. A red car in the parking lot was hit several times. Officers do not believe the victim, who was inside his second floor apartment, was an intended target. Police said he was hit in the backside.
