Victim in Thursday Wreck Dies

JACKSON, Tenn. - Family members of the victim involved in a wreck Thursday told 7 Eyewitness News she has died from her injuries.

Police said Maria de Jesus Torres lost control of her vehicle at the intersection of Airways Boulevard and the 45 Bypass.

Torres' car flipped and landed on its roof.

Family members said she was taken to the MED in Memphis and treated for head trauma.

Torres died from her injuries late Saturday night.
