Volunteers Spruce Up Child Abuse Center

A group of employees had a chance to give back to their community at the Annual LyondellBAsell Global Care Day.

Twenty volunteers worked all morning long to improve the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center. Plant volunteers added new landscaping, worked around the center's playground and fixed old picnic tables.

The event is something that goes beyond Jackson. It is part of a community service initiative that involves more than 3500 volunteers around the world.

"This is just our chance to show our support for this community. We are members of this community, and I think as a member of this community I think it is our responsibility to help support the community. This is our chance to give back," said employee Becky White.
