JACKSON, Tenn. - Nearly a dozen West Tennessee dads were honored Sunday night at the Second Annual Fatherhood Banquet.

The banquet was hosted by the Greer Campaign, which was founded by Jabari Greer, a Jackson native and father of four, who is a cornerback for the New Orleans Saints.

On Sunday night, nine dads graduated from the campaign's classes, to teach them how to become better parents.

Greer was unable to attend the banquet, but Skyped in to tell the dads how proud he is of their accomplishments.

Fathers WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News spoke to said they are thankful for what the program has taught them.

"No matter what circumstances life brings, that there is still an ability to have a presence in our children's lives," said father Kyle Lamb.

Greer said this is the second year for the program in his hometown, and looks forward to graduating many more dads.
