JACKSON, Tenn. – A woman is wanted for allegedly using a forged check to try and steal money from another person’s bank account.

According to Jackson police, the victim, who is from Illinois, noticed a suspicious charge on his account from the Walmart on Emporium Drive in Jackson in early September. The charge was for a purchase made by check from the store totaling $635.28 and caused the victim to be charged overdraft fees each time the check was sent thru to the bank.

Surveillance photos show the woman, who is seen wearing a lime green v-neck shirt and carrying a white purse making the purchase with the check.
