Wreck in Huntingdon Claims Life

Huntingdon, Tenn. - A deadly wreck in Huntingdon has left one person dead. Investigators released information on the Friday afternoon wreck, late Monday.

According to the police report, Bridget Balentine, 29, of Huntingdon, was killed in the two-vehicle crash.

Officers believe Balentine ran a traffic light at Hwy 70 and Veterans Drive and was hit by a tractor trailer on the driver's side.

The two people in Balentine's car, a 26-year-old man and an infant, both from Huntingdon, were not seriously hurt.

The truck driver, a 57-year-old man from Lexington, was not injured.
