Yellow Dot Program to Assist First Responders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- New stickers may help first responders better assist drivers in an emergency situation.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation launched the Yellow Dot program, which is designed to assist first responders in identifying vital medical information for senior drivers, Wednesday.

The program features yellow stickers that are placed in the bottom left side of the rear window of vehicles. Drivers will then store yellow envelopes containing a photo, medical history and prescription drug information in glove compartments.
