MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis police have arrested two people suspected to be involved in a fatal robbery of a McDonald's fast food restaurant and are investigating the possibility that the group may have been involved in several other robberies in the Memphis area.
Police on Saturday arrested 23-year-old Gentry Humes and 37-year-old Arkishia Thorne for aggravated robbery for Thursday's attempted robbery of the fast food restaurant where police shot and killed 32-year-old Charles Livingston III, who was armed. Thorne is accused of being the getaway driver.
The Commercial Appeal reports that a police affidavit says Humes is also accused of robbing a Church's Chicken restaurant this month. Both Thorne and Humes are scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday.
