3 charged in Mississippi police chase
CLARKSDALE, Miss. (AP) - Police in Clarksdale, Miss., have charged three Memphis teens in connection with an armed robbery and a police chase that ended when the suspects crashed in Tunica.
Police say 18-year-old Anthony Jackson has been charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of grand larceny. His bond has been set at $200,000.
The Commercial Appeal reports (http://bit.ly/1b1WG9g ) two other teen, 14 and 15, have been charged.
Police said the trio are accused of stealing an SUV from a 75-year-old man as he sat on his porch Friday about 10 a.m. Authorities also said the suspects robbed the victim of money and his cellphone.
It was unclear whether the teens have attorneys.
