Assault charge follows argument over feeding pet
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Clarksville couple concedes their tiff was over feeding their pet guinea pig. After that, the stories differ.
Police charged 31-year-old Emmanuel Igbokwe with domestic violence and simple assault Tuesday evening after his girlfriend said he pushed her while she was walking down stairs. The Leaf-Chronicle reported the victim did not fall. Igbokwe told police the couple argued over the pet, but denied touching his girlfriend. He was released on $250 bond. |
