By news admin

The pilot who was killed when his small plane crashed Saturday in Breckinridge County has been identified.
Breckinridge County Coroner Tim Bandy told The Lexington Herald-Leader the pilot was 54-year-old David Klein, of Louisville.
Klein was the only person on board the single-engine propeller Lancair airplane that took off from the Rough River Airport, headed to Louisville. It crashed in a field about 1:45 p.m.
Wreckage was strewn over the field, but there was no indication of fire. There were no witnesses.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
