HHS Secretary Sebelius visits Memphis library
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is apologizing to Memphis residents for problems with the rollout of the new health care website.
Sebelius, U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen and Memphis Mayor A C Wharton Jr. visited the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library on Friday for an education session about the health care marketplace.
Sebelius met with local Affordable Care Act enrollment partners before an outreach session with people who want to enroll in the health care marketplace. She said she was "really sorry" that some people are frustrated.
Problems with the health insurance website have led to frustration from citizens and criticism from members of Congress. At a congressional hearing Wednesday, Sebelius also apologized, but she also said she is accountable for the failures and defended the health care overhaul.
