KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police say only after they stopped a fleeing suspect they had chased at speeds over 100 mph did they find there were four children in his car.

The chase Thursday ended without injury as numerous officers sealed off the car's route in Union County and Billy Ray Fox of Corryton was arrested.

The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/15gj6VR ) reported Fox tried to escape because he is a suspect in an Anderson County burglary. Police found 27-year-old Heather Buchanan, also of Corryton, was in Fox's car with him. Also in the vehicle were four children ranging in age from five years to eight years. They were turned over to the Department of Children's Services.

Fox and Buchanan were booked into the Anderson County Jail on multiple charges that include child engenderment.
