FRANKLIN, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help in solving a nearly eight-year-old cold case.

Troopers say someone ran off the right side of US 31 West near Franklin the night of Sept. 25, 2005 and struck two men riding their bicycles home from work at Cracker Barrel.

Troopers say Angel Fernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, Luis Rodriguez, was taken to Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville where he recovered from his injuries.

Investigators concluded that it is likely the car involved was a 1982 or 1983 Honda Accord.
