Polk grand jury indicts Cleveland pastor
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) - A grand jury has indicted the pastor of a Cleveland, Tenn., church on child sex counts.
According to The Cleveland Daily Banner, Henry "Hank" Keith Davis was charged on two counts of sexual battery on a person under 18. Davis is pastor of the Church of the Harvest in Cleveland.
Davis was arrested Friday after the indictment was returned and was released from the Polk County Jail on $20,000 bond.
Investigators said a teenager told adults that Davis fondled her during a youth group trip to Parksville Lake.
A call Wednesday to the church was answered by a recording that would not accept a message.
Davis is scheduled to appear in court July 23.
