TBI says abducted baby recovered, cancels alert
GALLATIN, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a
2-month-old boy who was abducted by a man believed to be his non-custodial father has been recovered.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation had posted an Amber alert for
2-month-old Eric Goolsby. Family members told police Eric Owens and another man came to the home of the baby's grandmother Tuesday night and abducted him. The grandmother was granted temporary custody of the infant.
Gallatin Police have issued arrest warrants for the baby's mother,
24-year-old Chasity Goolsby, charging her with especially aggravated kidnapping and custodial interference.
