Teenager charged in shooting death of brother
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis police have charged a Memphis teenager in the shooting death of his brother.
The Commercial Appeal reports (http://bit.ly/18MqLJV) 18-year-old Dewayne McKissack was arrested Sunday in the death of 15-year-old Cardarius Webb.
According to police, on April 29 Webb began throwing bricks at the home of people who had been in an altercation with the boys' mother. McKissack showed up and began firing, intending to hit the people in the home. Instead, he shot his brother in the head.
McKissack is charged with second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault and using a firearm to commit a felony. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
Jail officials did not know whether McKissack had an attorney.
