Jackson Police Department investigator and U.S. Marine Robert Beilke stopped by the morning show with Jackson Fire Department Errick Merriweather to relay the progress of the blood drive.

The Jackson Fire Department is in the lead as of Thursday, but there is still time to donate on behalf of a service agency.

The Jackson Police Department, Jackson Fire Department, Medical Center EMS, Madison County Sheriff's Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol are all competing.

The blood drive ends Friday, June 13th.
