The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program will begin classes for parents to learn more about nutrition and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Parents will learn more about:
• Cooking Healthy
• Cooking on a Budget
• Keeping Your Food Safe
• Label Reading
• Kid Friendly Recipes
• Exercise and Weight Control
Participants will learn new, healthy recipes that are quick and easy to make. The classes are free and supplies will will be provided.
The event will be held in the Jackson Room at the Casey Jones Homes and Railroad Museum. 30 Casey Jones Lane in Casey Jones Village.
Two session will be offered. Tuesdays starting August 5, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 or Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 10:00-12:00.
