Hub City Junior Golf Association celebrates 12 years

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Hub City Junior Golf Association closed out their nine week program on Tuesday morning.

Over the course of three months, President Hewitt Chatman along with golf instructors taught young campers a different core value from the First Tee concepts.

"It gives them life skills, talks about responsibility and respect," said Hewitt.

Although Hewitt never played golf himself when he was little, he introduced the game to his two sons.

"It's wonderful. Years ago, they thought it was very expensive. It really isn't that expensive," explained Hewitt.
