Jackson Generals Host Double-Header

JACKSON, Tenn. - Baseball fans in West Tennessee got a double-header treat Friday, as the Jackson Generals played host to the Montgomery Biscuits to make up for Thursday night's cancellation due to rain.

In game one, Roenis Elias was on the mound for the Generals. It was a tough start for him, giving up one run in the first and four in the second.

The Generals finally got on the board in the second, but at the top of the fourth is was 5-1 in favor of the Biscuits.

The Generals tried to fight back, scoring two runs in the sixth inning and one run in the seventh. But the fell short, losing 5-4 in game one.

Game two got under way just after 8 p.m.

Bats were quiet until the bottom of the third, when the Generals piled on three runs, making it 3-0.

The Generals added one run in the fifth inning and went on to win 4-2, splitting the double-header.
