Lake Co. Pulls Out Win in Overtime

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Lake County's boys basketball team has made it to the semifinals of the TSSAA State Tournament after some late game heroics.

Lake Co. was down by seven at the beginning of the third quarter. The team pushed hard thru the quarter and made up the deficit to enter the fourth tied at 38 points.

The team fell behind early in the fourth quarter to Watertown, but scores from Dominique Kimble, Devon Jones and Zay Coleman pulled them back to even at the end of regulation.

In the end, it was five free throws from Jones and Coleman that proved the difference and resulted in the win for Lake County.

They will return to the court Friday at 1:30 p.m. to face Richland.
