JACKSON, Tenn.- A near perfect day for baseball on Friday, marking the 3rd day of the Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship at the Ballpark in Jackson.

Game one started at 11 a.m. as Southeast Missouri took on Belmont.
This is the second time the two teams have faced off in this tournament.

SEMO took that first game and Friday's as well, beating Belmont 2-1.

WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News caught up with one mom of a SEMO player who said she was enjoying her time in Jackson.

"The teams have been great, the families have been great and a lot of families come from Southeastern Missouri State, so we're all able to enjoy together to support the boys and support the team," said Elaine Burridge, a SEMO mom.

After defeating Belmont, SEMO went straight into a game against Eastern Kentucky. However, Eastern Kentucky took that game, 12-9.

In the final game of the night, Friday it was Tennessee Tech and Austin Peay. It was Austin Peay winning against Tennessee Tech, 6-2.
