Titans eager to be home after OT loss at Texans

By news admin

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans know only too well they could be 2-0 and have only themselves to blame for blowing a big win over a division rival.

They also are ready to make themselves at home.

The Titans (1-1) will take part in their home opener this season Sunday when they finally play in Nashville hosting San Diego (1-1). They remained disappointed Monday after a 30-24 overtime loss in Houston, knowing they had an 8-point lead with less than 5 minutes left and couldn't finish off the win.

Coach Mike Munchak says he hopes his Titans take as a positive that they went toe to toe with a very good team and can play with anybody. The coach says now they have the opportunity to play three straight at home.
