JACKSON, Tenn.- In baseball action Monday, the USJ Bruins went just down the street to take on the JCS Eagles earlier Monday night.

In the first inning, USJ, loaded the bases but JCS pitcher Matt Poteete would get himself out of the jam by striking out the last two batters of the inning.

JCS got a runner on base after a walk, but USJ tightened up their defense and kept JCS from scoring...

USJ would keep the upper hand, escaping with the win, 6-4.
