JACKSON, Tenn.- It was baseball action Tuesday afternoon as the South Side Hawks took on on the Liberty Crusaders.

However, Liberty could not get the bats going in the first as they were held without a run. In the bottom of the first, the Crusaders walked the lead-off batter and set the stage for Terricus Smith. Smith hit a shot, out to the right field fence for an RBI double.

Mason Taylor followed behind him with an RBI single, giving the Crusaders a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

It would be more of the same for the Hawks as they get another run in the third.

In the end, it would be the South Side Hawks getting the win, 4-0.
