Jackson Police Investigate Laptop Theft and Shots Fired

JACKSON, Tenn. - According to Jackson Police a man was shot at after refusing to give up his laptop in the LANA area.

The man wasn't injured in the shooting. The incident happened when the 38-year-old man was walking down the 200 block of Lambuth Boulevard. He told police a man walked up to him and asked for a cigarette and money.

When the victim said no, the suspect demanded the laptop computer the victim was holding.

The victim then ran into his house. The suspect shot at the victim at least 4 times.

The suspect is described as a black male 5 feet 3 inches with short hair and an earring in his left ear. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black bubble coat and black jeans.
