Jackson Christian School Selects New Head Coach

NORTH JACKSON -- Jackson Christian School selected a new head football coach, Friday.

Todd Roland will be the new head football coach of the Eagles. Roland comes to Jackson Christian after decades of success at Boyd-Buchanan School in Chattanooga.

Roland graduated from Boyd-Buchanan in 1985, where he was senior class president and a National Merit Scholar; he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He attended David Lipscomb University and graduated in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He also obtained a master’s degree in science education (chemistry) from Western Governors University.

“Months of prayer, listening and searching have led Todd Roland to us at this time," Scott Gatlin, athletic director at Jackson Christian, said. "I believe he is God's man for this job. We welcome Todd, Laura Lynn, Alex and Avery with open arms, and we are excited to see how God uses each of them on this campus.”

Roland says that he is very excited for this opportunity in his career.
