Ex-Ohio St. guard Johnson joins Chattanooga staff
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Brittany Johnson played for Jim Foster at Ohio State and now is joining his coaching staff at Chattanooga.
Foster said Wednesday in a news release announcing Johnson's hire as an assistant coach that "she is a hard worker and that's what I like to surround myself with."
Johnson played for Ohio State from 2007-11 and made 216 career 3-pointers. Since graduating from Ohio State, Johnson has played professionally in Greece and Israel.
Her primary responsibility at Chattanooga will be working with guards.
Foster took over Chattanooga's program last month after getting fired by Ohio State at the end of the 2012-13 season. He was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.
