Skyhawks launch new season ticket campaigns

MARTIN, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee at Martin athletics department has released two new season ticket initiatives for the 2014-15 football and basketball campaigns.

The first initiative, which begins on August 11, is a challenge for 300 new football season tickets to be sold in 30 days.

The “300 in 30” campaign will lead up to the date of UTM's first home game on September 11 against Cumberland University.

“UT Martin football has been a top-tier program in the Ohio Valley Conference in the last nine years under head coach Jason Simpson,” said Julio Freire, Skyhawk director of athletics. “However, our ticket sales have ranked amongst the bottom of the league. We are asking for your help so we can pack Hardy Graham Stadium in 2014.”

The second initiative “Tickets for Children” campaign targets both the football and basketball seasons.

The package allows buyers to attend the games that fit their schedule. For games that they cannot attend, they can send the tickets back to UT Martin Athletics and those tickets will go into the hands of West Tennessee underprivileged children.
