Driving home from work this morning I heard about the storm damage in Bemis, Tn. It was supposedly near my cousins home so I drove there. As I came into Bemis by the park I could already see the damage and the main street through Bemis by the park was blocked off with city workers, police, and huge trees downed. I went in the back way up 5th street and to my amazement there were really huge old trees on top of houses and cars. The neighborhood people were already trying to help those whose homes were severly damaged. The cleared a path for me to get down 5th street to 4th street where my cousins home was. When i got to the corner of 5th and 4th I was shocked and in awe. The hugest tree ever was completely on top of one of Bemis's old fine homes. It was so huge, that even thought it was uproote from the front close to the street, it covered the huge house alway from front to the back. The pics say it all. Luckilym, however, my cousins home was spared. I was relieved.
