I saw a straight line rainbow on the same day, in the evening during tornado warnings in our area. We had already experienced significant hail; the colors, however were of blue hues. Very odd, faint appearance; lasted 2-3 minutes at most.

i snapped a couple pictures of one of these yesterday...i also noticed pink and green clouds near the rainbow...NEVER seen this in my 30 years on this planet, so it kind of weirded me out...

I almost forgot to mention: The weirdest thing about the rainbow was that it was moving on the front of a cloud that was moving the opposite direction of ALL the other clouds in the sky. It was as if the rainbow and the cloud were a "unit".

today 1/11/2012 about 2pm in da aftanoon my kids saw in da sky a straight line rainbow they told me about it, i ran outside to c wats its looks like, i was a bit too late it has faded away, but i could see it more red yellow colour in a straight line
