Kentucky Searches For Kids of Slain Couple

Police are searching for two children who might be in danger after a south-central Kentucky couple was found slain in their home.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Billy Gregory says an Amber Alert was out for 15-year-old Christopher Endicott and 12-year-old Kyra Shockley. Police said the couple was made Christopher’s legal guardians in January and the girl might be a friend of his.

Police haven’t released the names of the couple. They say relatives found them Tuesday afternoon in their home east of Edmonton.

Gregory says police aren’t sure if the children might be with a suspect in the slayings.

Christopher is described as white, 5-foot-11, 250 pounds, with blond buzz-cut hair and green eyes. Kyra, also white, is 4-foot-8, 110 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Police are also looking for a white 1997 Chevrolet Lumina.
