Wreck Snarls Tennesee Interstate
A highway crash on the mountain at Monteagle has closed all eastbound lanes of Interstate 24.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation says all traffic headed eastbound in Grundy County is being diverted onto alternate routes.
The crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. Thursday and transportation officials estimate it will take until late morning to clear the highway.
Westbound I-24 traffic is slowed because drivers are looking at the wreck.
