Dyersburg Flooding Update

This video is no longer available.

It has been a week since flood waters crept into south Dyersburg, but now most of the area is dry. Even though evidence of the high flood waters are still all over south main street, people say they have been spared. Last Monday, the water started rising, and was almost 4 feet in some areas. But over the weekend the water began to recede and even with the possibility of the Mississippi cresting later in the week, residents said they are hopeful that it is over for them. Even though most of South Dyersburg has dried up, people living closer to the Mississippi river in Dyer county are still dealing with extremely high flood waters.
