Man Pleads Guilty to Vehicle Thefts

A Denmark man has pleaded guilty to stealing two cars and selling them for scrap metal. Willie Joe Perry, 57, has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and sentenced to 12 years in prison. This is on top of another sentence from Chester County. Investigators said Perry admits to stealing a car from the backyard of a home on North Hays Avenue in April, then earlier stealing a car abandoned along Interstate 40. Police credit a tip called in of suspicious activity with solving these cases.
