A north Jackson restaurant is closed after the eatery caught fire late, Wednesday night. Fire crews were called to the International House of Pancakes, or IHOP, located on Stonebridge Boulevard around 10:45 p.m. Fire investigators tell ABC 7 Eyewitness News the blaze started in the back of the building in a mechanical room. They said damage was limited to about 10 percent of the building, due to mostly smoke and water. IHOP officials said they are still assessing damage and do not know when the restaurant will reopen. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
