If you still need help from our recent rash of floods and storms or want to help those affected, there is one place you can go: The United Way of West Tennessee. The organization, which serves 17 West Tennessee counties, helps put individuals in need in contact with local groups who are available to help with things like emergency housing, food and volunteer groups who can help with various other needs. “We are here in the hard times, too. Whether it is a disaster, whether our community needs help we want to be an intragle part of that and we want to do all we can to help,” said Alan Turner, president and CEO of the United Way of West Tennessee.
