A trio of suspected thieves are accused of stealing thousands of dollars in utility rods from a Tipton County work site in hopes of making bond for one of them charged with a similar county. Paul Grisham, Steven Wallace and Angela Cox are each charged with theft over $1,000. Deputies said the three confessed to stealing the rods and selling them as scrap metal to pay a pending bond for Wallace. Both Grisham and Wallace remain jailed and will return to court June 21. Cox is free on a $2,500 bond.
