Deadline Set for FEMA Disaster Claims

If you live in one of the counties affected by the severe storms that included tornadoes, straight line winds and flooding in April and June, the deadline to register with FEMA is just about six weeks away. If you live in Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Hardin, Henry Lake, Lauderdale, Obion or Tipton Counties and were affected by the storms, you have until August 9 to register with FEMA. You can sign up by calling 800-621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. or by visiting www.disasterassistance.gov or by smartphone or tablet use, m.fema.gov.
