Arts-4-Autism Campers Show off Their Work
Some special campers are showing off some of their special work in a special setting today. The works from Arts-4-Autism Summer Camp at the STAR Center in Jackson. Campers enjoyed fun art and lost musical activities. Participants, parents and campers all said the event was a blast. “The kids are delightful. They are really enthusiastic and full of energy and full of life. So, they are fun to be around,” said Amanda Wiley, a music therapist for the campers. The camp was designed to transition children from school to summer routines using music and art therapy while engaging in social, communication and daily living skills.
