Henry County Meth Bust
A traffic stop in Henry County landed a mother-son duo behind bars on several meth related charges. According to investigators, Mitzy Sheppard and her son, Joshua Martin were pulled over at an intersection near Paris Monday afternoon. After receiving a tip from local law enforcement, officers with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force searched Sheppard’s vehicle and discovered meth making ingredients as well as finished amounts of the drug. Sheppard has been charged with conspiracy to make meth, meth manufacturing and accessory after the fact. Martin is charged with meth manufacturing and conspiracy to make meth. Investigators said Martin is also wanted out of Gibson County on a number of charges related to incidents which occurred over the weekend.
