Teen Dies In Tower Fall
A teen climbing a tower in eastern Kentucky suffered fatal injuries when the structure broke and he fell.
A group of six or seven boys were in a rural area in Morgan County early Saturday morning when two began climbing the television tower.
Fayette County Deputy Coroner Miles White told the Lexington Herald-Leader that 14-year-old Zach Munster and another teen climbed up more than 100 feet on the tower when it snapped.
The two were put in a pickup truck and taken to a local hospital. White says Zack Munster was transferred to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:21 a.m.
White did not know the condition of the 19-year-old.
