Tree Falls in Pinson Woman’s Yard

The quick moving storm that rolled through West Tennessee, Wednesday afternoon, left its mark in Pinson. Martha Walls tells ABC 7 Eyewitness News her decades-old tree just could not hold up against the wind, rain and lightning of the storm as it raced along Ozier Road. The tree, at least 50-feet tall, fell away from the family’s house, which is a good thing because there people, two women and a young girl, were home at the time. Walls says it looks as though lightning struck the tree, splitting it into. Now, she hopes family members will come and help clear it out of her yard.
