Labossiere Appears in Court on Child Neglect Charge
In a brief court appearance, Thursday, the Jackson mother accused of abandoning her 4-month-old baby in an unairconditioned stairwell, asked a judge to lower her $5,000 bond. The judge told Barbara Labossiere, 33, that her bond was low enough, given the face she is charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect. The judge also rescheduled her preliminary hearing until next Thursday, due to additional charges pending against the woman.
