Four Arrested, One on Loose in Check Fraud Case

Jackson police need your help finding a fifth suspect in a counterfeit check cashing scheme. Investigators said Rodney Williams, 24, of Jackson is wanted on a charge of forgery as for violating his community corrections. Police suspect him, as well as Ivory Taylor, Kenneth Sherron, Nakeshia McClain and Vania Blalock of using counterfeit checks, drawn on fake businesses Smith Janitorial or Jones Janitorial Services. Sherron faced additional charges involving a domestic incident earlier this month.
