Woman Arrested for Union Chapel Purse Theft

Jackson Police said they have arrested the woman who stole a purse from the chapel at Union University, late last week. Sheena Davis, 25, of Jackson was arrested earlier Wednesday on several charges of forgery and theft. Investigators believe Davis is the same woman captured by surveillance cameras throughout Jackson used a debit card stolen from the purse. Davis will make her first court appearance, Thursday.
