October 22, 2011 Registration at 8:00 am Race at 9:00 am Location: Historic District of Brownsville, TN 731-499-2720 Julie.hooper0@gmail.com 5K – 3.1 miles 10K – 6.2 miles 5K – before October 1, 2011 — $15; day of race — $25 10K – before October 1, 201 — $25; day of race — $35 Kids 8 and under – FREE ONLY Preregistered participants will receive a T-SHIRT. Child t-shirts available to order for $10. Course— You begin the race at the Haywood County Museum, formerly Haywood High School and before that the Brownsville Baptist Female College, houses not only historical treasures of the community, but the Haywood County Sports Museum and a valuable and unique Lincoln collection. It is located in the city’s historic district at the College Hill Complex. Then you continue through the historic district of beautiful Brownsville filled with gorgeous antebellum homes and scenic parks to admire on your journey. At the finish line, there will be plenty of snacks and refreshments. Event Information— The race is a Memorial race to honor our friend, Marla Rose Angotti. Marla was the daughter of P.J. & Sandra Angotti. She had grace, charm, beauty & intelligence. She was kind to others and knew how to be a friend. During her illness, she showed us humility, dignity and courage. She touched us then and continues to influence our lives. She would have been pleased to know that she had a part in our latest philanthropic project; so it is with that thought that we share the annual race with you. We hope you enjoy and continue to be a part of this event for years to come. Proceeds will go to benefit St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital and local scholarships. Awards:
